Day 1

Arrive Kochi, meet our representative and on the way start sightseeing few places and travel to
hotel checkin to the hotel get a refresh and again start sightseing in
Kochi along with its mainland part, Ernakulam, is also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea.
This afternoon you will visit the Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, and the Chinese fishing nets.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Kochi – Munnar
After Breakfast at hotel, proceed on a picturesque drive through the countryside of Munnar. It’s
one of the most popular hill stations in southern India
known for its sprawling tea gardens. Overnight at hotel

Day 3

Munnar sightseeing
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for sightseeing to Tata Tea Museum & Mattupetty Lake, where
you have an opportunity to go boating.
and Enjoy the serene views which Munnar offers owing to its famous tea plantations, and visit
either one of the 2 attractions:
Tea Museum or Eravikulam National Park (This is decided on ground as per the availability and
rush). Tea Museum (Monday Closed) – offers Informative and enjoyable session
of around 01 hr on history Tea plantations, factory, and the important role of tea in Munnar.
Followed by Various stages of tea processing can be seen, which includes the making of
black tea and a tea tasting session and shopping

Day 4

Munnar – Thekkady (120 kms/4 hrs)
Transfer to Thekkady, Set in the heart of the Cardamom Hills of Kerala, is the Periyar National
Park and Tiger Reserve, offering a rare opportunity to enjoy South India’s wild life.
Enjoy a boat safari (booking to be done on own) on Periyar lake to view the varied wild life of this
region. Evening attend Kathakali Dance Show. Overnight at hotel.
Note – Periyar Boat Ride is not included, one can book online in advance to avoid rush at ticket
Munnar – Thekkady (120 kms/4 hrs)
Today after breakfast depart for Thekkady by road. Arrive Thekkady and transfer to hotel. The
town also houses one of world’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries.
Lying at an altitude of 700-1900m above sea level, Periyar has a cool and comfortable climate. In
the afternoon, proceed for the nearby activity camp. Enjoy an Elephant ride through a small spice
plantation and witness Kalaripayattu – an ancient South Indian martial art and one of the oldest
fighting systems in existence today. Visit the spice market at Kumily where you can buy fresh
spices. Overnight at the hotel. (B)

Day 5

Thekkady – Alleppey/Kumarakom (130 kms/4.5 hrs)
After early breakfast, check out of the hotel at Thekkady and go for the Spice Plantation Tour
(Cost to be paid on own) which will last for an hour and proceed to Kumarakom.
After returning back to the hotel, you can indulge in a traditional Ayurveda massage. Overnight at
Thekkady – Alleppey/Kumarakom/Kottayam
Today morning enjoy boat ride on Lake Periyar. The Park encompasses 26 sq. km. of artificial
lake take a boat ride on the lake to view wild life and water birds.
Herds of elephants and bison come to the lake to drink water. Return to hotel, checkout and
depart for Kumarakom by road. Later Cruise on backwaters. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Alleppey/Kumarakom – Kochi (70 kms / 1.5 hrs)
After Breakfast, check out from hotel. Proceed for Kochi Airport / Railway Station to board your
flight / train for onward destination.
Back to Kochi (70 kms / 1.5 hrs)
Today after breakfast depart for Cochin by road for onwards journey. Transfer to airport in time to
board your flight. Tour concludes.
